Before moving forward, it's important that you carefully review the instructions and qualification requirements below. We are committed to the success of all our new agents and want to emphasize that completing any supplier training course does NOT automatically make you a certified, professional travel agent. This comes with experience and consistent travel. We take our team seriously and believe in promoting accountability, providing great opportunities, and fostering a collaborative online working environment.

  4. Prepare your résumé with a cover letter and three professional (not family) references.

    • The cover letter should introduce yourself, explain why you believe you would be an ideal candidate as a travel agent with Minnie’s Travel Boutique, and what you can bring to the company.

    • Include contact information on your three professional references.

    • Save as a Microsoft Word document or PDF.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for a position at Minnie's Travel Boutique, candidates should be highly motivated and have a strong educational background, with a bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Communication, Hospitality, Marketing, Psychology, or Business Administration. If a candidate doesn't have a bachelor’s degree, they must have substantial skills and experience in sales and administration, as well as a proven track record in customer service and travel planning. Additionally, they should demonstrate strong work ethics, possess leadership qualities, and be open to learning and committed to their previous job experiences.

The candidate has exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering accurate and thorough work. They also have excellent customer service skills and have successfully navigated challenging situations with positive outcomes. As an avid Disney enthusiast, they frequently visit Disney Theme Parks and bring valuable insights from their recent trips. This self-starter thrives on initiative, taking on projects independently and managing them to successful completion. With a passion for travel, they actively explore new destinations and stay informed about industry trends. Their proficiency in social media allows them to effectively engage audiences and promote the agency. Driven by the goal of transforming a part-time side hustle into a long-term career, they are committed to continuous growth and excellence. This detail-oriented professional excels at prioritizing tasks and planning successful trips, ensuring every client's experience is unforgettable. If they do not hold a bachelor's degree, they must possess strong skills and knowledge in administration, along with previous job experience in customer service, vacation planning, and strong work/business ethics.

We are a Faith Based Agency. Minnie's Travel Boutique is a distinctively faith-based travel agency dedicated to providing exceptional travel planning services. We believe in the power of prayer over our clients' trips and prioritize professional customer service. Our mission is guided by the following principles:

Online Training Program

Minnie’s Travel Boutique offers a 30-day online learning program designed to provide new agents with a solid foundation in travel agency operations. As part of the onboarding process, new agents must pay a one-time non-refundable training fee of $200. Throughout the program, they will be required to complete certification courses, quizzes, and attend weekly live-Zoom meetings with the Minnie’s Travel Boutique leadership team.

Before officially joining the agency, new agents will receive a contract to review and sign. Upon signing the contract, they will need to submit their training fee and a 2024 pro-rated administrative fee through Venmo, as specified in the contract.

Additionally, new agents are expected to sell two Disney Destinations packages, with a total value ranging between $10,000-$12,000, within their first year at Minnie’s Travel Boutique.
