It's important to learn about Minnie's Travel Boutique, as we hope to serve you with vacation planning. Below is a list of general frequently asked questions with brief answers that we hope will instill confidence in you booking with us.

How many ships are available to choose from with Disney Cruise Line?

Disney Cruise Line is currently booking six different ships: Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, Disney Treasure, Disney Wish, and Disney Wonder. Disney Cruise Line will soon add two more ships: the Disney Adventure and the Disney Destiny.

What is included on Disney Cruise Line?

In short: Disney Cruise Line brings the familiar and expected signature of Disney Guest Service to the silver sea. With Disney’s incredible attention to details and rich storytelling experience—it’s no question why Disney Cruise Line is voted among the best cruise lines year-after-year.

As a Guest on board any Disney Cruise Line vessel, there is so much for you to enjoy, experience, and be a part of. Most activities and interactions are included within the price of your stateroom; however, there is an additional fee and/or price for more exclusive options.

To start, below is an easy rundown of what’s automatically included:

  1. Accommodations: Disney Cruise Line offers various types of staterooms, ranging from standard inside cabins to luxurious suites. Each room is designed with comfort and families in mind, so you will get more space than what many other cruise lines offer.

  2. Meals: breakfast and lunch, also referred to as casual dining.

  3. Rotational Dining: Dining on Disney Cruise Line is truly a magical experience. Guests rotate through different themed restaurants each night for dinner, accompanied by a serving team (wait staff) who learn your preferences and rotation to each restaurant with you. Immersive dining experiences are unique to Disney Cruise Line.

  4. Snacks: all you can eat along with soft serve ice cream, as well.

  5. Soft Drinks: Any soft drink, brewed coffee or tea served at meals or at the ship’s beverage stations are all included at no extra charge.

  6. Room Service: 24-hour room service at no extra charge to you.

  7. Entertainment: Disney Cruise Line offers Broadway-caliber shows featuring beloved Disney characters, as well as live music, deck parties, and entertainment tailored to different age groups, including kids' clubs, teen lounges, and adult-exclusive areas.

  8. Character Experiences: Meeting Disney characters is a highlight for many guests. Onboard, you'll have numerous opportunities to meet and take photos with favorite characters in various locations around the ship.

  9. Pools and Recreation: Disney Cruise Line ships feature multiple pools, waterslides, splash zones, sports courts, fitness centers, movie theaters, deck parties, trivia, games, and so much more. There are activities for guests of all ages!

  10. Kids' Clubs: Disney Cruise Line offers supervised kids' clubs divided by age groups, providing age-appropriate activities and entertainment for children from toddlers to teens. These clubs allow parents to enjoy some adult time while their kids are engaged in fun activities. Kid’s, tween, and teen clubs are included for children ages 3 (must be fully potty trained) to 17. For the smallest sailors ages six months to two years old, you can use the It’s a Small World Nursery service for an additional fee.

What time is dinner each night?

With every Disney Cruise Line vacation, there are two call times for dinner: 5:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. These times create an opportunity for each Guest on board to enjoy and experience themed-main dining restaurants. When you book with your Minnie’s Travel Boutique Travel Professional, please relay your preference for dinner time. Note: dinner time requests are subject to availability.

Are there themed Disney Cruise Line sailings?

Yes. Throughout the year, Disney Cruise Line offers special themed sailings. Below is the list of available themed sailings:

  • Halloween on the High Seas (Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, and Disney Wish)

  • Very Merrytime Cruises (Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, and Disney Wish)

  • Marvel Day at Sea

From what ports does Disney Cruise Line ships sail?

While this can change from year to year, Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of itineraries all across the globe. The most popular ports tend to be Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale in Florida; San Diego, California; Galveston, Texas; and Vancouver, Canada. For a complete list, visit here.

Will Disney Cruise Line be a good fit for an adult-only vacation?

Yes! Disney Cruise Line ships are designed with purposeful space in mind. Many areas of each ship are exclusively for adults. Additionally, there are adult-only dining options, coffee shops, pool areas as well as adult-only activities offered on every ship. We are confident that Disney Cruise Line will provide your adult-only party an enjoyable, relaxing, and quality vacation.

Does Disney Cruise Line have a private island?

Yes. In fact, there are two private islands! Select itineraries with Disney Cruise Line will sail to Disney’s original private island, Disney Castaway Cay or to their newest island, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. There are even a select ships that will make a stop at both private islands. On these islands you are able to enjoy the family beach or the adults-only beach. They provide fun water play activity areas both the young and the young at heart. You can also book a cabana or an excursion for your travel party to enjoy together (additional fees apply). The best part is you can experience all this while still enjoying the amazing service for which Disney is so well known.
